FPAP-IND (Canadian Program for Indian Citizens)

Introducing: An Optimized Flight and Internship Program for Indian Students

(By Russ Sherwood; December 29, 2019; Ormond Beach, FL)

I am proud to introduce a new development by Aerocadet: the Full Professional Airline Pilot for Indian Students (FPAP-IND), a specialized flight training program that caters to the unique needs of Indian students facing challenges in securing U.S. student visas. FPAP-IND offers a streamlined pathway to the airline cockpit within a span of two years, propelling students from ground zero to amassing over 1500 hours of flight time (if they opt for the 18-month flight instructor internship) or a grand total of 2500 flight hours if students choose the Canadian CPC program.

What is so unique about it?

FPAP-IND stands out as a program like no other. It has been meticulously crafted by Aerocadet consultants, all of whom boast extensive experience as airline pilots. The program's development was achieved in collaboration with a network of flight and ground school training providers, as well as internship and employment placement agencies, spanning India, Canada, the United States, and the Caribbean (BVI). This international partnership ensures that Indian students are offered a swift, all-encompassing, and cost-effective pathway from an entry-level aviation enthusiast to securing guaranteed employment with prestigious airlines.

The FPAP-IND program guarantees the attainment of high-quality, internationally recognized ICAO pilot licenses. Moreover, program graduates can apply for internships as flight instructors lasting 12-18 months. Following successful completion of flight training and internships, students may choose to return to India, where they can finalize their conversion from Canada's TC to India's DGCA ATP license. Subsequently, they become eligible for recruitment by leading Indian airlines.

For students who have their sights set on Middle East airlines like Emirates, Qatar, and FlyDubai and need to accumulate a minimum of 2000 jet hours to qualify as Direct Entry First Officers (DEFOs), there is a unique opportunity to apply for permanent residency in Canada under the Canadian Experience Class. Graduates who have completed the initial phase of internships as flight instructors are eligible to apply for this status. If approved, this status enables them to pilot for regional and major Canadian airlines such as Jazz, Rouge, WestJet, and Air Canada. Additionally, our Flight Training Provider (FTP) in Canada (DLI) has a special agreement with Air Canada Jazz, a regional carrier operating CRJ-700/900 aircraft, offering preferential interviews and hiring to program graduates. This arrangement ensures that they can efficiently fulfill the 2000 jet hour requirement for Emirates and Qatar employment.

The program offers a plethora of advantages, providing immense benefits to aspiring aviators, all at an astonishingly competitive price. Here's a glimpse of what we bring to the table:

1. Unrestricted Canada & India ATP Licenses: Graduates of our program obtain both Canada and India's Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) licenses, enabling them to unlock a world of aviation opportunities.

2. Over 2500 Hours Total Time Potential: Our program paves the way for accumulating over 2500 hours of flight time, a significant milestone in a pilot's career.

3. Over 2000 Hours Jet Time Potential: For those targeting jet aviation, our program provides the potential to log over 2000 hours of jet time, an invaluable asset in the aviation industry.

4. Employment Placement Assistance: We don't just provide training; we offer comprehensive support in securing employment with leading airlines, ensuring our graduates step into the cockpit with confidence.
